    I am one of Ultrahosting customers but I had an awful experience with their technical support. They suspended my account saying I had exceeded the server limits and they could not tolerate excessive usage because this was affecting other clients’ sites. My email account was also down and emails sent were bouncing back while my customers were calling me to ask what had happened which is not good for business.
    I called support and explained all this to them but they failed to take responsibility. They claimed that either I was using coding that was overworking the processor or I had an increase in traffic to my site.

    Satisfied with Managed Hosting
    I am a customer of Ultrahosting having purchased the Linux VPS package and I can say that, my apps and website run smoothly so far. There is no setup fee and the ability to host unlimited domains is an added advantage. I opted for the managed hosting so I could concentrate more on my business for growth. This leaves me more time to do my business research, so I can expand my company. Support is friendly and reliable no wonder they are called UltraSupport. They are available on phone, email, live chat and online chat.
    I find the support reps to be knowledgeable about the issues I have raised with them as a beginner in this hosting field.

    Waiting for Refund
    We had set up 20 sites on Ultrahosting semi-dedicated server. We did not have a lot of traffic and they agreed about this but the server was overloaded at some point. They suspended our account. We submitted tickets and sent emails to support helpdesk. Their support team asked us to send backups of our account so they could identify the problem.
    They sent us an email claiming that we were using excess resources and affecting other users’ accounts. Unfortunately, they did not send us any prior notification before suspending our account. Somehow we did not receive more visitors on the sites than we usually get.
    They told us to reduce usage of the processor or upgrade to Dedicated Dual-Core plan or other expensive plans. We sent them our payment and asked them to upgrade the account which thet didn’t. Our business is down and we cannot afford to lose more sales. We have cancelled our subscription and we are claiming a refund.

    Suspended Account
    I cancelled my subscription with Ultahosting after being with them for 1 year.
    They suspended my account without sending me any warning despite the fact that I have been their loyal customer for 1 year. If they had informed me earlier, I would have corrected the usage instead of suspending my account.
    When they block your account without warning they claim that the overload affects the server functions and other clients’ accounts on the same server are also affected. I sent emails to the Helpdesk who replied saying that I signed their Terms of Service. It seems like they allocate so many users in the VPS servers and I had to move my sites even if their plans are affordable. Other users overload the servers and Ultrahosting suspends the sites blaming you for excessive-usage.
    When you call customer service they start giving you apologies saying they usually give 24 hours notice but in this particular case they did not because of the nature of the problem. They tell you to upgrade the account to a dedicated server plan so they can re-activate it. I wish they told me that before suspending my account.
